1997 Memories on the Back 20:

Woolworths Department Stores closed down, losing money in all departments due to competition–except in one.  Their sporting goods department would eventually become Foot Locker.

The $50 bill was redesigned by the U.S. Treasury to prevent counterfitting.  President Grant’s head in the center circle was removed and his image became larger, featuring his head and upper body off-center to the left.
