2007 Memories on the Back 20:

Keyboard Cat debuted on the Internet.  The original video was made in 1984 by owner Charlie Schmitt of Spokane, Washington.  After it’s upload in 2007, it would go on to have over 60 Million views and spawn many copycats.  The cat’s name was Fatso.

2007 was the year that Paranormal Activity debuted in theaters.  It would become THE MOST PROFITABLE FILM ever.  It only cost about $15,000 for Oren Peli to create the film.  Paramout changed the ending and distributed it costing some more cash.  One estimate says the total to make it was about $450K, but it would make $193-Million.  One source says that’s close to a 19,800% return on an investment.  It’s impossible to get an exact figure, but still, it was a hefty ROI.
