2005 Memories on the Back 20:

Halle Berry received the Razzy Award for Worst Actor, for her performance in Catwoman.  Surprisingly, she showed up for this industry insult award, her Acadamy Award for Monsters Ball in her other hand, and hammed it up with a hilarious speech as if she were overwhelmed to be called the worst.  The crowd loved that she was a good sport.  She wrapped up with some words of wisdom about praise and criticism.

In 2005 , Jedi became an official religion or “Ministry of Public Charity.”  The First Temple of the Jedi Order opened in Texas.  The IRS would later award it a tax exemption.

Dierks Bentley starred in his music video for Come A Little Closer with Bonnie-Jill Lafflin, who became the first female scout in the NBA (Los Angeles Lakers).
