2011 Memories on the Back 20:

The movie Avatar opened in theaters and would open a Pandora’s Box of smashed box office records, including the highest grossing film EVER– a record it would eventually lose to Avengers: Endgame and have to reclaim with the Avatar re-release.  Very sneaky!

James Ingram released his new album Big Dreams and High Hopes, and promoted it by getting into the Guiness Book of World Records on its release day.  He did the most consecutive radio interviews in 24 hours.  215 interviews, 5 minutes each.  That’s a total of 1075 minutes–just under 18 hours.
