Chris Lane’s New Song Features Tori Kelly? Who’s Tori Kelly?

“Take Back Home Girl” is the latest hit by Chris Lane featuring Tori Kelly.  You might be asking yourself, “who is Tori Kelly”?  Here’s a few things that might help you remember.

Tori Kelly is one of Idol’s biggest modern misses. She auditioned for the show but was cut before Top 24 on season 9. Kelly turned to self-producing, releasing an EP in 2012 out of her bedroom. She caught the attention of Scooter Braun, who manages her, and signed with Capitol Records. After another EP, her first full length, Unbreakable Smile, hit in 2015, with a Number Two debut on the Billboard Hot 200 and a nomination for the Best New Artist Grammy.

Tori Kelly is the voice of  Meena in the movie “Sing”.  She did the scripted part as well as Meena’s singing role.
