Wildfire Road Closure Update

As of right now, The Glenn Highway is open to one lane with a pilot car.  State Troopers are urging drivers not to travel passed the McKinley Fire if at all possible.

The Swan Lake Fire near Cooper Landing, which closed the Sterling Highway Sunday afternoon, is now open.  Troopers are asking drivers not st stop along the highway to look at the fire,

Both fires could close the Highways again as conditions change.
